Origins is a recreation of a family heirloom organ that has been passed down for generations in my family and still lives at my parents’ house. It is a large anchor connecting my identity to a lineage about which I only know bits and pieces. This miniature organ was installed in the Trunk Show gallery created by Erin Wheary, a solo exhibition series using a miniature gallery that flat-packs into a suitcase.
